Quickie Mart is at the forefront of the hip hop and jam band scene. It was just a few years ago that Quickie came up in the smoke filled, late night bar scene of New Orleans. Since then, he has distributed thousands of mixtapes, been featured on a number of other artists' projects, and toured every corner of the country as a solo act, as well as with other acts, like Galactic, iCON the Mic King, and Media Darling Records.

Quickie has played large events like the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the '05, '06 and '07 Bonarroo Music & Arts Festival, the '05 and '06 Voodoo Music Festival, SXSW, and Zen Festival. He has also shared stages with a variety of artists such as George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Jurassic5, RJD2, Fishbone, Lyrics Born, Joss Stone, Perry Farrell's Satellite Party, DJ Klever, Particle, The Bravery, Akon, Gift Of Gab, Inspektah Deck, Lilly Allen, performed on stage with the legendary Dr. John, and appeared on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly Show as Devin The Dude’s DJ.

This talented DJ/producer/engineer has produced countless tracks, including the song "Q & A" by the Lucky Stiffs which was released on Scion's "Labeless Lifestyle" album and distributed world-wide through half a million copies. QM is also a part of the New Libation Orchestra, a New Orleans funk band, which features members of Galactic.

After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the rest of the world gave recognition to DJ Quickie Mart's hard work when he and his crew were featured in a three page spread in the December '05 issue of URB Magazine. Quickie, now West Coast based, is one of the hardest working entertainers from New Orleans, staying busy with a consistent hustle of recording and touring, while holding down a successful weekly in Los Angeles at the Air Conditioned Supper Club. QM also serves as the official DJ for Los Angeles super group L.A.'s Finest, as well as the tour DJ for iCON the Mic King, Haps, Know One, Soapbox and Impulss.


After accomplishing so much in such a short amount of time, it's easy to see why Quickie Mart has attracted so many people to his musical talents - and even easier to expect much more from him in the future.
